  2. Well, according to the lyrics to the song, he's going out of town to play a weekend gig and it'll be all right because Monday he'll be back with his sweetie.

    But for this here interpretation, I'm gonna say sometimes the weekend is the reset button, and Monday is the first day after you pressed it.

    Or maybe it's the "Fool Button" ... I don't know. ;-)
